3D Scanning & Reverse Engineering in Edmonton

When a drawing does not exist, the physical part can be the starting point. Scanning captures its shape; reverse engineering turns that information into a usable model.

PROJECT PRICING

$75 CAD / hour

Scanning and model reconstruction depend on geometry, surface and the required detail. We review the part and agree scope before starting. Applicable taxes and shipping are confirmed in your quote.

Based in Edmonton, Alberta. Include your location for projects elsewhere; shipping is discussed where practical. Timing and pickup are arranged for your project.

POSSIBILITIES

Start with the part you have.

  • Discontinued & replacement components
  • Custom-fit parts
  • Automotive components
  • Existing products that need modification

What to send us

Photos and approximate dimensions of the physical part, what needs to change, and how the finished piece will be used.

The approach

Suitability depends on the part’s size, surface, condition and required detail. Critical dimensions and fit requirements are reviewed separately.

What happens next

Physical part → 3D scan → digital model → agreed modifications → reproduction or manufacturing.

Planning your project

Is a 3D scan ready to manufacture?

A scan captures surface geometry. It may need cleanup or CAD reconstruction before modification or manufacturing. We discuss that work in the quote.

Can you reproduce a discontinued part?

Send photos, approximate dimensions and the intended use. Condition, surface, hidden geometry and critical dimensions determine whether scanning and reconstruction are suitable.
